These are live recordings from Stourbridge Rock Cafe 2000 in June 2008 but the artists are actually acoustic and very cool. One Sixth of Tommy are 3 superb female singer / songwriters / musicians
from Stourbridge and are off this summer to record with Tears for Fears and Elton John producer in BAth and Alex Lanyon of Bearwood is a prodigious talent set to be a superstar so check em out.

One Sixth of Tommy, the Matthew Bennett Band, Alex Lanyon and The Cubans have sold out the hexagon theatre at the Mac, Birmingham. The gig, on Sat 29th March, is designed to be stripped down band acoustic and feature / showcase some of the best up and coming (as well as arrived!!) talent in the Midlands.
Cross promoted by Musoplex and Nuventure Ents we can't be happier to have sold out (on behalf of ourselves and the artists) or sadder that they are closing our beloved MAC for a year to implement a massive expansion plan.

First of all - a big welcome back to Si the Head Producer who has just retured after a 3 week european tour...missed you buddy.
We got to thank Bham City Council for the support XXXXXX Especially Barbara and Chris.....thank you soooo much.....we will justify the belief.....XXX
We booked a joint promotion with Nuventure on 29th March at the Brum-famous MAC.....a night featuring One Sixth of Tommy, Alex Lanyon and more.....wonderfully next-generation singer-songwriter craftsmen and women.....
We are recording live audio and video for Nuventure on 30th of March for 5 bands...a challenge and a half but one we are looking forward to. Including....the Hoop Group and the Singles Club.....very cool both....
Paul Broadrick brought us in a sensational photo shoot that should be ready for issue in the next week or so :o). Thanks Paul - see you soon and Jen - thank you XXXXXXXXX - see you again soon.
Our label ambitions may have changed as we are strongly considering taking a joint venture with a FABULOUS band - more in a week and watch the webite change.
A cool spot - only this afternoon - came in the shape of some live recording for Skullfox, who said our live recording was better than their other studio stuff. True - but always nice to hear.
And a big welcome to new rehearsers..not a real word!....The Empires (excellent!), the Lightning (also very good) and welcome back Retroflare (great name) and a big and heartfelt thanks to everyone who already uses us cos you have made us very, very happy bunnies these last 7 months.

Musoplex is proud to announce that it has formed an official working relationship with Nuventure UK promoters and already we are looking at one of the brightest prospects the UK has seen for years....One Sixth of Tommy. 3 girls, 3 guitars, heaps of talent and appeal...at 16 years old these girls are multi-instrumentalist songwriters with a totally bright future. Currently under managemet of Matt from Nuventure we had them in for a single day of recording and they knocked out 3 well crafted songs set for release as a single through Matt. They have a growing reputation for excellent live performances and we will be watching them closely.....as should all of you.
