This weekend we were lucky enough to be hired to film and audio record Seth Faergolzia of Dufus on part of a rare solo European tour at the Junction in Bristol - Bristol's home of punk and anti-folk.
The audio is peachy, the video footage uploaded. All we need is a few camera shots from the gig itself for the CD / DVD sleeve. We know there were cameras there so is there any chance of mailing a few to musoplex@gmail.com??? PLEASSSEEEE X
A big thanks to Vicki for the organisation and all at the Junction for helping make it a great all-dayer. With Seth's permission we will add some footage this weekend. A true genius and an incredibly voiced, stunning songwritrer.
Pete is also busy filming a video for Telegramme - one of the Midlands finest, and poorest bands and thanks to Matt at Nuventure UK for the gig at the Stourbridge rock Cafe on Friday - all the audio is now in Logic and should be mixed by this weekend.
That is all.

Well....here they are....
3 strapping lads from Solihull, Birmingham in the UK and Stacie.....providing you all with a little indie, indie metal and from what I can tell a Coldplay cover :o))))))) - sorry guys - you know we love our DiC here XXXXX
Seriously advanced as songwriters for their years and a band rapidly developing into a force to be reckoned with as a recording and live act.
Check out these LIVE recordings!!! 3 songs, 3 styles - all excellent.

Evangeline - a reformed mix of Ian Babinton and Pete Raj from Leicester were in for a live acoustic set recording a few weeks ago and look set to release 'Easy Now' and others on an EP in June.
The session was recorded by Andy Ward, engineered by Si Reeves and Andy, mixed and mastered by Andy in a 4 hour studio session followed by 6 hours of studio time engineering the 7 tracks recorded in the session.
Personally, we were well happy with the session, they were excellent musicians and songwriters and thoroughly enjoyable company to wile away a Sunday afternoon with.
So - here is a preview - Easy Now is a beauty of a song and still an in-car CD favorite.

Aha....I got it to work.....
We film and audio record live events, like this.....hope you enjoy The Singles Club - Pretty Little Love Machine, Live at the Stourbridge Rock Cafe on 30th March 2008.
Credits / contacts are at the end of the video...
Cheers :o)
One Sixth of Tommy, the Matthew Bennett Band, Alex Lanyon and The Cubans have sold out the hexagon theatre at the Mac, Birmingham. The gig, on Sat 29th March, is designed to be stripped down band acoustic and feature / showcase some of the best up and coming (as well as arrived!!) talent in the Midlands.
Cross promoted by Musoplex and Nuventure Ents we can't be happier to have sold out (on behalf of ourselves and the artists) or sadder that they are closing our beloved MAC for a year to implement a massive expansion plan.

Metal madness hits musoplex......a headline from the Sport? No - cos this is true!!
Skullfox (Myspace here) came in last week and laid down some true honest to goodness metal madness...LIVE!!!!
These are live recordings done at the hands of Andy Ward and Si Reeves and are awaiting mastering....but in the meantime here is a sneaky peek at a pre-mastered tune...
Cover your ears and run to the hills....heeeerrrreeessssss Skullfox.....
Andy........shy, introvert and yet.......
For some reason he is okay about playing to 3000 people in leopard-print trousers and a zebra print bass and a basque and union flag sarong......but behind the mask is just another extrovert trying to get out....:o)
A man of at the very least - 2 sides - neither of them too appealing :o)
Playing since the age if 15 Andy has moved effortlessly from being average on keyboards, to mediocre on guitar, passable on bass and diabolical on drums - but has amassed quite a wealth of knowledge on the workings of a live band, is a more than competent Cubase programmer (although the new studio does not use Cubase!!!), and is old enough to have used an Atari ST....
2007 sees him occasionally gigging, engineering and live recording, designing, promoting and jamming but it is mostly paperwork for the poor fella until we can afford a secretary.
If this works I think I cracked it....
Hopefully we can even get a live recording on that we did last weekend for a video shoot....even the clapperboard marks are still on there it is that fresh.....
Alex Lanyon MP3 - Posture - Live at Musoplex - the video will be available early October
