We don't post as much as we should cos we are too busy.....but enough excuses.....here's several reasons why we are the best studio in Brum :o)))

Yes.....it is true......
In the meantime it is good to be back......our website has been down for nearly 2 weeks due to server errors with our suppliers ( no names!!) but we are back up at www.musoplex.com - where this news will also end up!!!
Back to business - as well as just finishing some excellent recording sessions for Red Lite Run (hooky, catcy, indie), Skull Fox (due to be the best metal band of this generation), Zanzibar (proper, adult songwriters) and Police Bastard (in final mastering.....brutal punk) we have also just finished the latest in TV recording for Race TV and spoken word recording for www.imagetextimage.com. We are also filming at Rebellion at Blackpool in August for the forthcoming Police Bastard video. Look for a fat, middle aged man with a film camera sticking out like a ore thumb but singing along....that'll be me!!!!
We have also agreed to release and record the next single for local legends the E-Go's (www.egoarmy.co.uk) and hope to capture sheer brilliance of their live set on audio and video prior to release late 2009 or early 2010. Sincere thanks to the E-Go's for giving us the opportunity to promote them - the sort of band I'd go and see day in, day out anyway. Check out their fledgling website which has got some tunes from their last EP and a video for The Lights and news of up and coming gigs as well as a chance to join the fanclub - The Ego Army!!!!

The E-Go's are the UK's finest unsigned band - and you can now let them know how much you love them using this map. add yourself to the E-Go Army - new material to be released late 09 / early 2010 - depends on when we can ge tthem in to the studio :o))
The UKs finest metalheads have been back. their new EP is finished....here are a few MP3's to tickle your fancy!!! If you don't like your metal - cover your ears now!!!!

This EP and Skull Fox themselves will be featured and interviewed in an upcoming Unsigned slot on Radio WCRfm (101,8 - Wolverhampton) and streaming on the net in the next week or so.....keep a look out cos they are awesome.

The pictures were taken by Affinitie photographer Katy while she was around the studio during a recording session so a huge thanks to her for these. I will be posting some of Katy's model and band work soon so keep en peeled - I may even make another gif :o))

Two new metal recordings....
Skull Fox - Studio favorites with a new hybrid live recording of a new EP - this track (For the Sake of Retribution) will be on their new EP. Launch TBD but just how much have these guys grown in a year??? Excellent.
New to the studio were the very impressive Shot in the Dark - If All Else Fails was one of 3 songs done in just a day.....awesome drums.....

framework Studios at Musoplex have taken on a new freelance producer in the form of Lee Phillips (www.cornerstudios.co.uk) and he starts his full-on time solo work at the end of the month.
Meaning......when Lee has our weekends we can do some cheaper daytime rates as it frees up the legendary Si Reeves (worked on Napalm Death, Bjork/Carcass / PJ Harvey at Framework).
From £150 a day (Mon - Thurs) he represents incredible value for money. You can always still book Framework and Si Fri - Sun starting at £250 a day for longer runs.
More to follow as we have also created our own promotional gig arm with Matt from Nuventure...

A new recording and partial new line-up as one of the 90's most esteemed UK punk bands comes back to the studio for the first time in years with new material to accompany a UK and European tour this spring / summer. For release on Iron Man Records we can't wait to have them back in.
