Interesting times at the studio - that's why we opened it...
We are just about entering our second year after the build of the new place and it seems life forever ago and just last week all at once. Spend too long thinking about it and my head turns to fog....
The Skullfox artwork is done and awaiting band approval - all songs will also be remastered prior to pressing - although they are still sounding hot after 2 months and a revisit - which is always pleasing :o)
Pete is just finishing his videos for Telegramme before moving onto some more artwork design for The Dreaming Tree.
We have our promoters in place to help us kill off the whole robbing BOTB concept from Autumn 2008 - keep watching.
Andy's recording of Evangeline's Easy Now went top 5 (from over 25, 000 acoustic songs) in some online acoustic charts whose name evades me at the mo but I'll look it up later - still....very nice for all concerned! :o)
Monday and Tue this week sees 60% of the legendary Nightingales in to pre-prep record new material before flying off to take it to the other band members - how cool a lifestyle does that sound?
Hidden in here is a huge congrats to Alex too....well done buddy.....I believe the contacts are signed today?
So now I am off on a week's holiday and you are all up to date. If anybody needs anything - call or e-mail the other 2 - but don't expect anything before midday - these guys are serious artists and should be treated as such!!!!! :o)

We are releasing a live recording as an EP on the Musoplex Raven: Metal label in mid-August (the artwork and CDs are about ready and will go to press soon).
Skullfox are moulded in the traditions of metal forged in the Back Country since the invention of Black Sabbath and take some influences from more mainstram American bands (Metallica in particular). They are young, noisy and often a little rude but these thacks as far as they go I believe contain no swearing - let me know if you catch any and I will wipe it but be warned - these songs feature occasional but heartfelt expletives!!
A young band with a grounding in excellent riffing and songwriting with a good ear for sound and arrangement - what more can we ask for??

These are live recordings from Stourbridge Rock Cafe 2000 in June 2008 but the artists are actually acoustic and very cool. One Sixth of Tommy are 3 superb female singer / songwriters / musicians
from Stourbridge and are off this summer to record with Tears for Fears and Elton John producer in BAth and Alex Lanyon of Bearwood is a prodigious talent set to be a superstar so check em out.

]]>This weekend we were lucky enough to be hired to film and audio record Seth Faergolzia of Dufus on part of a rare solo European tour at the Junction in Bristol - Bristol's home of punk and anti-folk.
The audio is peachy, the video footage uploaded. All we need is a few camera shots from the gig itself for the CD / DVD sleeve. We know there were cameras there so is there any chance of mailing a few to musoplex@gmail.com??? PLEASSSEEEE X
A big thanks to Vicki for the organisation and all at the Junction for helping make it a great all-dayer. With Seth's permission we will add some footage this weekend. A true genius and an incredibly voiced, stunning songwritrer.
Pete is also busy filming a video for Telegramme - one of the Midlands finest, and poorest bands and thanks to Matt at Nuventure UK for the gig at the Stourbridge rock Cafe on Friday - all the audio is now in Logic and should be mixed by this weekend.
